Helsinki Airport has gained a new addition to its range of services with hair salon Cutters opening its doors in the arrivals hall. Cutters serves both passengers and other visitors to the airport, such as residents of the neighbouring area and hotels.

“It’s great that the diverse range of services in the arrivals hall at Helsinki Airport is expanding again. We develop the airport’s offering with our customers’ feedback and wishes in mind. Hair salon Cutters is an excellent example of how diverse services can be at the airport and how they serve all visitors to the airport,” says Nora Immonen, Finavia’s Director of Commercial Services Business for Helsinki Airport.

Hair salon Cutters opened at Helsinki Airport in February 2025. The service fits in well with the airport’s bustle and works on a drop-in basis, which means that no appointment booking is required. Customers can walk right into the salon or check the possible waiting time in advance in the Cutters app.

The arrivals hall invites you to enjoy the services

Helsinki Airport’s arrivals hall houses several popular restaurants, such as Levant, Pretty Boy Wingery, Sake Sushi, Bröner, Burger King, Subway and Espresso House.

Customers are also served by shops, for example Normal, Lindex, Alepa, R-kioski and the pharmacy.

From the arrivals hall, you can directly access three different hotels indoors: the Comfort Xpress Hotel located on the ground floor of the airport, as well as Finland's largest hotel complex, which includes the Clarion Hotel Helsinki Airport and the Comfort Hotel Helsinki Airport.

“We offer our lunch customers free parking for meals every day. In addition, many of the services are open around the clock and within walking distance of nearby hotels. We are confident that the airport’s new services will offer something for all passengers and visitors,” says Immonen.
