“The Eurowings route from Central Europe to Kajaani is a much desired addition to our airports’ route network. Direct international routes are very important for the accessibility of both the region and Finland as a whole. At Finavia, we work hard with our regional partners to develop connections,” says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
Eurowings will fly the route once a week on Saturdays from 18 January to 22 March 2025. The route will be flown with 150-seat Airbus A319 aircraft. Tickets can be booked on the Eurowings website.
This winter, Eurowings, a member of the Lufthansa Group, has been flying a total of six direct routes from Germany to Finavia airports.
