This summer 2023, The Oak Barrel pub at Helsinki Airport offers tasty food and drinks in its renewed restaurant area. With the renovation, the pub's customer seats have almost doubled and a new terrace area has been completed in front of the restaurant.
Thanks to the new kitchen, passengers can also choose from a wider selection of meals: the menu has been expanded with traditional pub-style dishes ranging from burgers to fish and chips.
Traditional beers and delicious burgers
The Oak Barrel pub at Helsinki Airport is known for its selection of beers and whiskeys. Indeed, it boasts one of the largest selections of beers and whiskeys at the airport. The revised list includes nearly 20 different types of draught beers.
The menu offers a variety of food and beer matches, from familiar favourites to more exotic combinations. For example, the house's signature “Oak Burger” is perfectly complimented by Lagunitas IPA. The selection of beverages also changes according to the seasons.
We recommend trying the fish & chips prepared from Finnish pike, or the hearty Oak Platter.
