Finnair will resume operating two weekly flights from Helsinki Airport to Nagoya, Japan, on 30 May 2024. In the summer season, Finnair will have a total of 20 weekly flights from Helsinki to Japan.

“It’s great to see Finnair resuming flights to Nagoya from Helsinki Airport. This route is a sign that the Asian connections are recovering, and the route will make Finland even more accessible to passengers arriving from Japan,” says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.

In addition to Nagoya, Finnair flies from Helsinki Airport to Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo Narita and Osaka in Japan. You can buy tickets to all these destinations through the Finnair website.

More weekly flights for winter 2024

In October 2024, Finnair will start scheduled flights to Faro in Portugal and to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. All of these routes will have two weekly flights. Finnair will also start operating flights with a wide-body aircraft to Las Palmas as well as Dubai, which will have two additional weekly flights.

Finnair will also add five weekly flights to Manchester, and Dublin and Edinburgh will both get two new weekly flights. The Reykjavík, Iceland, route will also get three additional weekly flights.
