Air Baltic has announced new destinations as part of its 2024 summer season route offering. For Finavia airports, the new addition is a direct route from Tampere-Pirkkala Airport to Palma, Mallorca.
The route will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Fridays from 3 May 2024. The flights will continue until 11 October. The route will be flown with Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
“Airlines are already starting to look ahead to next summer, although winter and the winter season routes are still on the way. Air Baltic’s new route from Tampere is a great addition to our airports’ future route offering. The airline already has a very comprehensive offering of routes from Finland to different parts of Europe, and there are still new route openings coming for the winter,” says Petri Vuori, Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
Smooth travel from Tampere: Air Baltic’s base is developing
Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is one of Air Baltic’s bases, which means that the airline has permanently placed one of its planes there. Currently, Air Baltic has eight direct routes from Tampere to various parts of Europe.
Air Baltic will also open new routes to Kittilä and Tenerife as well as to Las Palmas from Tampere-Pirkkala Airport for the winter, in addition to which the company will fly a daily triangle flight to Tallinn and Amsterdam.
