Helsinki Airport has numerous restaurants, cafes and lounges that serve customers before and after the security control. The restaurant restrictions caused by COVID-19 also apply to the airport's restaurants, cafes and lounges. Most of them will introduce the COVID-19 passport.

The restaurants operating at Helsinki Airport comply with the restaurant restrictions applicable in Uusimaa. In order for the airport's restaurants, cafes and lounges to provide the best service to their customers, restaurant operators have decided to start using the COVID-19 passport. The introduction of the COVID-19 passport aims to ensure the current opening hours of restaurants and cafes at Helsinki Airport.

In restaurants that have introduced the measure, passengers over the age of 16 are asked to produce their COVID-19 passport as they pay for their purchase 5 p.m. onward (local time).

In addition, restaurants, cafes and lounges only use a limited number of their customer seats to ensure safe distances.

Other Finavia airports

Restaurants and cafes at Finavia’s other airports may require COVID-19 passport. Please, be prepared to show your COVID-19 passport if you use restaurant services after 5 p.m. (local time).
