Starting from July 13th, travel restrictions will be lifted for countries where the incidence of the coronavirus is at most eight new cases per 100,000 persons in the previous two weeks. This means that travellers arriving from these countries are not required to follow voluntary quarantine recommendations upon arrival to Finland, or pass through internal border controls.
The lifting of travel restrictions is also being considered for countries in which the number of coronavirus infections has substantially decreased and continues to decline.
The travel restrictions in effect in destination countries may vary, so passengers are required to check the entry and quarantine instructions before leaving for a trip.
For more information about arriving in Finland and crossing the border, please contact the Finnish Border Guard, tel. +358 (0)50 597 2255 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
