Delays for handling departing, transferring and arriving baggage are expected at Helsinki Airport on this weekend as the Finnish Aviation Labour Union’s (IAU) overtime ban causes a temporary shortage of resources for the baggage handling services.

If you are travelling from Helsinki between 21st and 23rd of February, we recommend that you arrive at the airport in good time before your flight and consider travelling with carry-on baggage only. Please pack all the essentials in your carry-on baggage.
