Helsinki Airport’s product selection completed with numerous Finnish products at the end of May. The airport’s new service provider, World of Delights, offers passengers not only rye bread and Finnish fish pasty but also Finnish berries, jams and fish, among others.

World of Delights brings a great deal of Finnish ingredients and traditional Finnish dishes to the airport at its Finefood shops.

The new deli and souvenir shops offer, among others, rye bread by Fazer, cloudberry, cranberry and blackcurrant jams by Pentik as well as Finnish salmon and trout. In addition, berries such as blueberries, lingonberries and sea-buckthorns as well as Finnish cheese and traditional dishes like KalaKalle’s Löylylohi and Finnish fish pasty can be found from the stores.

Finefood shops serve passengers at gates 19 and 29.

Service overhaul at its final stage

Finavia has launched a remarkable service overhaul at Helsinki Airport, bringing nearly 70 new or refurbished shops and restaurants to the airport.

The overhaul is now at its final stage. The renovations at Terminal 2 will be completed by the end of 2015. In 2016 renovation work will be done at terminal 1.
