The flight connections from Kokkola-Pietarsaari to Helsinki and Stockholm are easily available to Vaasa residents during the summer. Vaasa Airport will be closed between 22 June and 26 July 2015 due to the runway renovation project, but you can simply use the neighbouring airport.

The bus service provides a connection on weekdays to Finnair's evening flight to Helsinki and NextJet's flight to Stockholm, Arlanda Airport. The bus schedule takes into account the minimum check-in time defined by the airline.
You can buy the ticket from the driver, and it costs EUR 19. The route is operated by Tapio Lae Oy. The route will be operated between Vaasa and Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport on weekdays from 22 June to 24 July.
