Finavia is revamping Helsinki Airport's services. With the renovation of Arrivals 2A lobby, the selection of restaurants available to arriving passengers will improve.
Due to the renovation, the Picnic restaurant located at Arrivals 2A will close. The restaurant will be open until 6 January 2015.

In addition to the new restaurant complex, services for arriving passengers will be centralised to make them easier and faster to access. The goal of the reform is to meet the requirements of growing passenger volumes.
The demolition of the old business premises begins in January. Construction of the new restaurant complex begins in spring 2015. The renovation is expected to be completed in summer 2015.
It has been over ten years since Arrivals 2A was last renovated. The passenger volumes at Helsinki Airport have multiplied since then. In order to serve the continuously growing number of passengers smoothly, the airport needs to develop.
