Bus services at Helsinki Airport

Finavia will be responsible for the operation and development of the bus station at Helsinki Airport starting from 1 May 2025. This page contains information for professional drivers who operate bus traffic at Helsinki Airport.

Who is entitled to use the bus station area?

The bus station can be used by drivers who are dropping off or picking up passengers at Helsinki Airport by bus or some other M2 or M3 class vehicle.

The bus station can also be used by other large vehicles (classes M2 and M3) for which passenger pick-up and drop-off is prohibited in the departing passenger drop-off area and the short-term parking area, as well as other vehicles for which a separate agreement has been signed and which have a permit for the area.

Arriving at the bus station

The Helsinki Airport bus station is located at the end of Lentäjäntie. The address is Lentäjäntie 1.

The bus station's entry barriers use licence plate recognition and allow one vehicle at a time to enter the area. Slow down when approaching the barrier!

The display next to the barrier shows the platforms intended for the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed.

Leaving the bus station

The fee for using the bus station can be paid at the exit barrier or at our service point inside the terminal before exiting the bus station area if the company in question does not have a separate agreement with Finavia. Finavia’s taxi and bus service point is located on the ground floor of the terminal, next to the taxi station exit. The exit barriers automatically recognise the licence plate when leaving the bus station.

If you experience any problems at the barriers, you can use the phone provided at the barrier to contact Finavia's bus station coordinator, or you can call 020 708 2050 for assistance.

Pricing

The charging of the fee for using the bus station starts automatically when the vehicle enters the area at the barrier and ends when the vehicle exits the area. The fee is charged per commenced hour.

A free drive-through period of 15 minutes applies in the bus station area. No fees are charged for visits shorter than 15 minutes.

The bus station can be used on a one-off fee basis or by concluding a more detailed agreement with Finavia.

The price list will be added to this page soon.

Why conclude an agreement on the use of the bus station?

Vehicles that visit the bus station on a regular basis can apply to become contract customers at the bus station to take advantage of contract-based reduced pricing. Contract customers can also have their fees charged directly to a payment card. You can apply to become a contract customer via Finavia's online service after 5 May 2025.

A link to the online service of Finavia's bus station will be added here on 5 May 2025 when the online service goes live.

For vehicles that visit the airport frequently (e.g. a scheduled route), we recommend a contract based on monthly pricing. To conclude an agreement, please contact Finavia's bus service at [email protected].

For vehicles that temporarily need a bay for a day or longer, please contact Finavia by e-mail at [email protected].
