The strike will have a significant impact on airport operations and air travel. It is a political industrial action that does not target Finavia, and Finavia is not a party to the strike. Finavia owns 20 airports in Finland, 4 of which are so-called cooperation airports with the Finnish Defense Forces.
The military airports Halli and Utti, operated by Finavia and used by the Finnish Defense Forces, have been demarcated from the political strikes. Cooperation airports Rovaniemi, Kuopio, Tampere-Pirkkala and Jyväskylä are included in the strike with limitations. Maarianhamina Airport is not affected by the strike.

We recommend you book your parking in advance. If there are any changes to your trip, parking can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the start of the reservation.
- At Helsinki Airport, there may be changes to the opening hours of restaurants, shops, and other services during the strike. We aim to ensure that services are available to passengers throughout the terminal during the strike.
