The destinations for EasyJet’s new scheduled flights from Rovaniemi are Berlin, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Geneva, Lyon and Nice. The airline will start to fly the routes in November–December 2024.
The airline will also resume last winter’s flights to Rovaniemi from Edinburgh, Paris, Amsterdam, Naples, Milan, Manchester, Bristol, London Gatwick Airport and London Luton Airport. In Lapland, EasyJet will also fly to Kittilä Airport from Manchester and London Gatwick Airport.
"EasyJet will offer a total of 17 direct international routes to our Lapland Airports next winter. The number is very high for a single airline and reflects the international appeal of Lapland as a travel destination. Routes with regular scheduled flights, which Finavia negotiates with airlines and regions, are extremely important for Lapland's accessibility and with them, the record growth in tourism will continue next winter.” says Petri Vuori, Finavia's Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
