More than 10 new restaurants and cafés will open at Helsinki Airport over the summer. If you are about to travel, check out the list!

1. Asian Kitchen

Asian Kitchen brings together the experience of the best and most colourful food stalls in Asia in one kitchen. The restaurant serves tasty dishes for every taste.

2. Bastard Burgers

Bastard Burgers serves New York-inspired street food made with high-quality ingredients. At Bastard Burgers, plant-based options are available for nearly the entire menu. The burgers are named after famous big cities: London, New York, Texas. So head to Bastard Burgers if you want to enjoy a juicy burger before your flight.

3. Fafa’s

Fafa’s is a Finnish restaurant focused on vegetarian food that is especially known for its handmade and tasty pita bread and falafels.

4. Kaffet Bakery

A charming café specialised in baked goods – that’s Kaffet Bakery! The café’s products – such as carrot cakes, cheesecakes and artisan breads and buns – are baked at the airport’s own bakery. The café is located in the Arrivals hall of Helsinki Airport.

5. Oak Barrel

Beloved by passengers, the Oak Barrel pub will expand over the summer. Thanks to the new kitchen, customers will be able to enjoy an even wider range of food. Traditional pub-style dishes, ranging from burgers to fish and chips, will be added to the menu. More seats will be added to the restaurant’s terrace area.

6. Pala Pizza Bar

The secret to the delicious pizzas served by Pala Pizza Bar is the dough. The dough is made at the restaurant with Finnish flour and left to rest for at least 48 hours. Excellent tomato sauce and high-quality toppings complete the pizza.

7. Robert’s Coffee

Robert’s Coffee, which is a Finnish family business, offers nearly 180-degree views of the runways and apron of Helsinki Airport. The café will be serving treats and high-quality coffee at the gate area.

8. Toastery Café & Bar

The Finnish Toastery Café & Bar serves excellent coffee and snacks at an affordable price. The relaxed atmosphere of the café invites passengers to enjoy fresh bagels, toasts and drinks before their flight. The bar has a selection of wines, beers and cocktails. Toastery Café & Bar is open round the clock.

9. Tori Kitchen & Café

The Finnish Tori Kitchen & Café serves some of Finnish people’s favourite products to take away or enjoy at the café. The breakfast menu includes slow-cooked porridge made with organic Finnish oats, and the café’s freshly baked doughnuts, for example, are baked on site at the airport’s own bakery.

10. Relove

Relove is the world’s first second-hand store located at an airport. It’s a combination of a café and a shop. The café serves a variety of vegetarian breakfast and brunch foods all day. During your visit, you can also make second-hand finds in the shop.

11. Subway

The popular restaurant Subway is known for its sandwiches, for which you can choose toppings according to your own taste. Subway will open a second restaurant at gate 16, where it will serve passengers round the clock. At Helsinki Airport, there is also a Subway in the Arrivals hall in front of Luoto.

12. Starbucks

Known for its world-famous coffee, Starbucks will open a café in the airport’s magnificent departures hall. You can enjoy quality coffee and savoury and sweet treats in the café or take them with you on your flight.
