Starting from 2 December, direct flights to Madrid, the capital of Spain, will be available from Rovaniemi Airport. During the winter season, flights will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
“We are very happy that Iberia will be the first airline to launch direct flights between Rovaniemi and Madrid! The route will also provide passengers with smooth onward connections to, for example, the Canary Islands and destinations in South America,” says Petri Vuori , Finavia’s Senior Vice President responsible for route development.
The route will be operated with the Airbus A320neo aircraft. The estimated flight time is approximately 5 hours.
