The connections between Helsinki Airport and Central Europe improved as Eurowings opened a new route to Berlin-Brandenburg Airport on Sunday. This is the airline’s first route from Helsinki Airport.
The airline is launching four weekly flights to the German capital. The estimated flight time is 2 hours 10 minutes.
“It is great that new routes are being opened from Finavia’s airports, giving our passengers better connections to the world. The route will also serve passengers travelling from Germany to Finland, just in time for the summer season,” says Petri Vuori, Senior Vice President, Sales and Route Development at Finavia.
Eurowings is a low-cost airline that is part of the Lufthansa Group and specialises in direct routes around Europe.
