“It’s easy to arrive at Helsinki Airport by car. We have suitable parking areas for a weekend trip or a longer autumn break,” says Jukka Isomäki, Finavia’s Head of Parking and Ground Traffic at Helsinki Airport.
During the autumn break, Finavia recommends using parking garages P2, P3 and P5.
“Our spacious parking garages are ideal for autumn break parking. Our newest parking garage, P2, offers wider parking spaces, a separate floor for electric cars and an elevator to the arrivals hall. We also recommend P2 for those travelling with special baggage due to the higher premises,” says Isomäki.
All parking areas are just a few steps from the airport’s arrivals hall.
“P3 is our most affordable parking garage and therefore suitable for longer parking. Thanks to its excellent location and reasonable price, P5 is ideal for weekend parking or longer parking. It’s easy, for example, for families with children to walk from their car through the covered walkway to the arrivals hall.”
The most affordable of Finavia's parking areas is the outdoor area P4, which is a short walk from the airport. However, according to Isomäki, parking spaces at the airport will be filled quickly during the autumn break.
“The holiday season is currently underway, which means that you must act quickly. We recommend booking your autumn break parking in advance, so you also get it at the best price,” says Isomäki.
