Helsinki Airport will be busy from 6 to 13 August. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport well in advance, especially for flights departing in the morning between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. or in the afternoon between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. during these dates.
Check in advance with your airline what time the check-in for your flight begins. It is also a good idea to check whether your flight leaves from terminal 1 or terminal 2.
Prepare for your trip well in advance
It is a good idea to book parking in advance so that you can make sure you get the parking zone you want. The earlier you book, the cheaper the parking will be.
Do you have questions about your luggage? Are you travelling with a child or a pet? Do you require assistance services at the airport? You can find tips that make travelling easier on this page. Instructions for check-in and security control as well as the real-time queuing situation at the airport’s security control points can also be found on the same page.
By preparing beforehand and arriving well in advance, you will ensure a smooth start to your trip!
