This is the first ever direct international flight route to Kuusamo Airport which is one of the famous Lapland Airports, operated by Finavia. Lufthansa will operate this scheduled flight route from Frankfurt during winter 2017–2018 from December 23rd to March 24th.

The growth started when Lufthansa began its first direct flights flights from Germany to Lapland in 2015. Besides Helsinki, Ivalo and Kittilä, Kuusamo will be the fourth destination in Finland we will be serving from Germany.
