A classic must-see city destination, London has taken first place as Norwegian’s most popular destination for this year’s autumn break, week 42. Later this year, at the beginning of December, Norwegian will also start direct flights between Rovaniemi and London.
“London always offers new experiences and sources of inspiration. There you can discover the latest trends from food to fashion. Once you get to know central London, you should explore the surrounding areas which include some interesting districts and, among other things, plenty of ethnic restaurants,” says Norwegian’s Communications Manager Charlotte Holmbergh Jacobsson.
Year after year, Spanish destinations remain on the list of Norwegian’s most popular destinations for flights departing from Finland. This year, four of the five most popular autumn break destinations are in Spain: Málaga, Alicante, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca.
“After enjoying summer holidays on the beach, it seems that many people want to spend their autumn break in a city. The top five autumn break destinations are all cities, and four of them are in Spain. Spanish cities offer the opportunity to spend elegant, yet relaxing city breaks,” Holmbergh Jacobsson says.
In addition to the routes between Spanish and European destinations, Norwegian also offers Spanish domestic flights and flights from Spain to the United States.
Norwegian operates more than 30 direct flights from Finland to European destinations. Later in the autumn, Norwegian will begin direct flights between Helsinki and Dubai. The route was launched last winter and was very well received. In the winter season, Norwegian will fly daily between Helsinki and Dubai.
