The renovation, lasting about three months, was finished in schedule in the beginning of August 2015.
The renovation site covered nearly 35 hectares at the airport.
During the work nearly 100 000 tons of runway surface was milled. New asphalt was molded more than 135 000 tons. Altogether 55 kilometers of cable and 2 000 lamps were installed.
