The new Premium Lounge is designed by the Helsinki-base interior architect office Vertti Kivi & Co. Classic Scandinavian design inspired by Finnish nature and colours, lights and video installations that change by day and season all serve to create a unique atmosphere throughout the space.
In addition to famous Finnish design institutions such as Marimekko, Iittala and Eero Saarinen, passengers get to enjoy premium food and beverages.
The Finnair Premium Lounge is for Finnair Plus Platinum and Gold holders and Emerald and Sapphire holders. The capacity of the lounge is 122 passengers.
All passengers have the opportunity to enjoy the Finnair Lounge services for €48.
A private sauna and shower rooms top off the travelling experience
The gradual renewal and finishing touches will be applied to the Finnair Lounge and Premium Lounge facilities in the months to come. A Finnish sauna, along with new, private shower rooms will be completed during August and they will be made available for both Lounge and Premium Lounge customers. During 2014, a magnificent reception area and a high-quality shop will also be completed in the area.
The Finnair Lounge and Premium Lounges serve passengers at Terminal 2 in the 36-37 gate area of the non-Schengen area.
The Finnair Lounge renovation project continues in the Schengen area
The Finnair Lounge renovation, which started in July, will continue until late autumn. The renewed Schengen area Lounge will have capacity for 280 customers, up to 40% more than before the renovation. The service selection will extend with private shower rooms.
