The new spacious and light security checkpoint with five new lines has increased the security check capacity of Helsinki Airport by 40%. A total of 23 security check lines now serve travellers. The number of security check personnel has also been increased.
Thanks to the new security checkpoint, the departure procedure now goes smoother than ever. Waiting times are considerably shorter than before during peak hours.
