From 30 December 2014 to 27 March 2015, Finnair will offer three daily services to Bangkok. The additional services depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 20.15, arriving in Bangkok the next day at 11.00. The returning flights from Bangkok are scheduled for Wednesday, Friday and Sunday departing at 12.45 to arrive in Helsinki the next day at 18.55.
The new evening departures are operated with Airbus A340 and there are good connections from domestic and Scandinavian services as well as services from France and Germany. With its three daily services, Finnair is a leading airline servicing Bangkok with a high frequency of flights and excellent connections.
“Thailand has long been a favourite destination for Finns and other North Europeans. Increasing the service is our response to the steady and continuously increasing demand,” says Pekka Vauramo, President and CEO of Finnair.
According to Vauramo, Finnair offers the most frequent service to Bangkok of all European airlines and is in the right path in achieving its target of doubling its revenue from Asian routes by 2020.
Finnair currently services 28 weekly destinations in Japan and the same number of weekly flights to five cities in China. Finnair’s flights from other Asian cities, including Delhi, Hanoi, Soul and Singapore, to Helsinki have excellent connecting services to more than 50 destinations in Europe.
