There are two parking areas; P1 for short-term and P2 for long-term parking.
Pay for parking via mobile
Parking at Kuopio Airport will be paid for via mobile apps. When using the apps for the first time, users must sign up.
How to pay for parking via mobile
- Download and sign up to the mobile app of your choice
- Start the parking time in the mobile app when parked
- Select the time you wish parking to end
- When parking time ends, pay for parking directly in the mobile app

At Kupio Airport, passengers can also still use traditional pay stations, located in the vicinity of the front doors of the terminal, where the parking fee can be paid using a debit or credit card (not Amex). Paying with cash is not possible.

Parking at the airport is always at your own risk.

Parking space and charging stations for electric cars
The parking space for electric cars are located in the north end of parking area P1. After driving to P1, turn left and drive to the other end of the area. The charging stations are on the left side. Charging fee is EUR 0,25 per kWh + EUR 4 starting fee. The customer’s service provider may charge additional fees. It is not possible to book charging station in advance. Heated parking spaces
Both parking areas have also heated parking spaces. Kuopio Airport has a limited number of heated parking spaces in both car parks for an extra charge. Price for the heated parking space is 15 € and 10€ service charge. Heated parking is paid at the information desk upon arrival at the airport. The heated spaces cannot be reserved. The use of an internal heater is strictly prohibited when parking at a heated space.
