You can see the predicted security check queue time for the next 12 hours below. This is a pilot that we are developing together with our customers. The goal is to improve the customer experience of the security control and to make travelling smoother. You may provide feedback on the prediction through the site's feedback survey. Please note that the predicted queue time may differ from the actual waiting time. The pilot queue time prediction does not yet fully take into account the impact of the EU liquid rules that changed in September 2024 on passenger behaviour. The services at Helsinki Airport are being developed based on data. The queue time prediction is a practical example of using data to improve the customer experience. The pilot is based on a simulated prediction from passenger data, provided to Finavia by the Amorph information system.
