Beer enthusiasts spoiled at Gate 15
The 60° Bar & Brewery, opened in Christmas 2015, has an excellent selection of beer. The stylish brewery/bar has a rotating selection of 15 beers from small-scale breweries, such as the Tuusula-based Maku Brewing, and the 60 Bar IPA beer made specifically for and only available at this bar.
The 60° Bar & Brewery selection will be regularly supplemented with new beers. There also are other refreshments available and snacks, such as salads and sandwiches.
Facelift of the legendary Oak Barrel
The Oak Barrel Irish Pub, one of the airport’s most famous places to boost spirits before departure, will be renewed. The pub will get a new look at the beginning of the year and the facilities will be renovated while retaining the old look & feel and strengthening the pub’s identity.
During the renovation a temporary outlet of the Oak Barrel will be open for service at the pub location, which means that passengers need not be thirsty during the renovation either.
It is estimated that the renewed Oak Barrel will be open in February-March 2016.
Finnish delicacies and souvenirs also available in the long-distance flight area
The selection of the Finefood shop, opened in the non-Schengen area of the airport in late January 2016, includes Finnish fish products, cheese, berries and jam, as well as other well-known Finnish delicacies, such as Fazer Blue and salmiakki.
Located at gate 32, the shop also offers iconic Finnish design products from Moomins to Iittala.
More Finefood shops are located at Gate 20 and Gate 30.
